Colors tell stories. They evoke emotions, set moods and make the difference between a beautiful clip and a truly touching video. This videography class is all about color – how you plan it, shoot it specifically and perfect it in post-production. <\/p>

I have been working intensively with videography for over 12 years, and with each project my passion for color design has deepened. I am grateful to be able to share all my knowledge and experience with you. <\/p>

The class is divided into three parts:
color theory, visual thinking when shooting and color grading in post-production.<\/p>

Color theory & camera setup:<\/strong>
I will explain the basics of color spaces and color profiles and show you how I consciously set up my camera so that it offers me as many creative options as possible when editing – for vibrant, expressive colors.<\/p>

Visual planning when filming:<\/strong>
Instead of technical camera tips, the focus here is on the creative eye: Which colors work in which environments? How does light influence the color mood? What do you need to consider during filming so that your color vision can be implemented in the edit? <\/p>

Color grading in Adobe Premiere Pro:<\/strong>
In the last part of the class, I take you into my editing process. You’ll learn how I color grade my clips – with LUTs, targeted contrast adjustments, light refinement, masking and color matching between different scenes. I’ll explain how the most important color tools in Premiere Pro work, how to remove color casts and give your footage a uniform, cinematic look. <\/p>

This class is aimed at anyone who wants to consciously engage with color, regardless of their level of experience. Whether you are just starting out in videography or want to take your color looks to the next level: you will take away valuable impulses and concrete know-how. <\/p>
