Description

Over 12 years ago, I started to work intensively with videography – and over time it became a real passion. I am infinitely grateful that I was able to capture my adventures, experiences and the development of my dogs in moving images – and that today I can create unforgettable video memories for other dog owners.

Over the years, I have steadily expanded my knowledge through learning-by-doing, several internships and lots of trial and error – and I am very happy to share this knowledge with you now.
This video training is the perfect guide for you if you are already working as a dog photographer and would like to add moving images to your client shoots.
The class is divided into three parts: Theory, Shooting and Editing.

Theory: I’ll show you what equipment I work with, how to set up your camera optimally, how to achieve the popular slow-motion effect and what you can actually film – including creative ideas for your shots.

Shooting: Join me on a real video shoot. You’ll be up close and personal with me as I film – including valuable tips on camera stabilization, focus control, the right way to handle dogs while filming and the seamless transitions my videos are known for.

Editing: I will take you through the entire editing process of the material filmed in the shooting part – in Adobe Premiere Pro. You will work with my structured folder template, select the appropriate video material and a song, cut to the beat of the music, stabilize the footage and learn my tricks for seamless transitions, slow motion effects and speed ramps. You will also get an insight into the basics of color grading and sound design.

You can either purchase theory + shooting or the complete class (incl. editing).

After purchase, the training is available to you as a download – with lifelong access and the option to view all content as often as you like.

This class is available only in English.

Frequently asked questions

What language is the class in?

The entire class is in English – clearly spoken and easy to follow. You don’t need perfect English skills to understand it. Some of my previous customers were unsure about the language at first, but all of them found the content easy to follow and understood me well.

After purchasing, you’ll receive the video training as a download – you can watch it anytime and as often as you like.

Yes, you don’t need any prior knowledge of videography. I explain everything from scratch – from camera settings to video editing.
Ideally, however, you know the basics of photography and basic settings such as ISO, aperture and shutter speed. You should also already be somewhat familiar with your camera.

You need a camera with which you can film manually (e.g. mirrorless or DSLR) – and ideally a lens that is suitable for portrait shots and ideally also one that is suitable for action shots. You can learn a lot even with simpler equipment!
The better and faster your equipment is, the easier it is to capture great shots – but you can still get professional-looking results with more affordable gear.

I use Adobe Premiere Pro in the class and explain both the software and how to use its tools. However, you can also work with other programs like DaVinci Resolve. You’ll learn general editing principles that can be applied across different platforms.

Some of the basics can be applied to smartphone filming – but to get the most out of this class, I recommend using a camera that allows manual settings.

The “Theory & Shooting” part explains my basic approach to shooting and you’ll get a good introduction to videography.
However, many filming processes work hand in hand with the corresponding steps in the editing process, which is why it is always helpful to see this directly in relation to them.
Wie ich nahtlose Übergänge filme, ist im Shootingteil nur in der Vollversion der Class enthalten, da dies gemeinsam mit dem Schnitt erklärt werden muss.
If you have already purchased the small package and decide afterwards that you want to buy the pattern piece as well, you will automatically be charged the difference in the shopping cart.

This class is a self-paced course without 1:1 support – but you can always reach out to me on Instagram, where I regularly share tips and updates.
I also offer personalized video reviews. Just contact me directly if you’re interested.

I explain the basics and my basic workflow for color grading.
However, I also have an extra class that covers all my knowledge about filming in a flat color profile and the subsequent color correction and editing in detail. You will receive a 15% discount on this class if you have already purchased it.

You book the class directly here in the store, get immediate access to the class download and can get started right away – at your own pace.
As the coaching file is almost 1 GB in size, the download may take a little longer depending on your internet connection.
